You take classes in a big school, but you have a small group of friends within Katz that you interact on an everyday basis. The one thing we all love about the associates program is that it gives us the opportunity to take the business classes and everything else you would need for Sy Syms, but in a more structured way and easier to understand. Katz allowed me to focus myself and get my head on straight and go after my dreams. There were so many opportunities... Meanwhile, the Katz program still challenged us and had us work hard. The Katz program embedded life skills into the curriculum. This prepared me to go into the BA program smoothly. Always there for me, whether it was going to basketball games, grabbing lunch, or just sitting down and speaking about what I can do better. We designed a business plan from the ground up. As we did this, the professor supported us and taught us skills we didn’t have before about entrepreneurship. I can honestly say there isn’t a teacher I didn’t like.
